The Panama national football team will leave today from their home soil on their way to the World Cup, but before settling into their base camp in Canada, they will make a stop in the United States to play their last friendly match. The national team has planned to leave Tocumen International Airport in the afternoon heading to San Luis, Missouri, United States, where they will face Bosnia and Herzegovina this Saturday, June 6, at 4 pm. As time goes by, the Panamanian team will hold a practice on Friday, June 5, at 10 am. On the same day, but at 9:30 am, a Panamanian player to be assigned will participate in the press conference. After the match against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Saturday, the Panama team will travel to Canada on Sunday, June 7, specifically to their base camp at the Nottawasaga Training Center, located in the city of New Tecumseth, Ontario, north of Toronto. The team will remain there until June 16, when they will travel to Toronto, where they will rest that night and be ready for their World Cup debut on June 17 against Ghana at BMO Field. The Panama national football team is located in Group L of the FIFA World Cup 2026 along with Ghana, Croatia, and England. After their debut against Ghana on June 17, Panama will also face Croatia in Toronto on Tuesday, June 23, and close the group stage against England on Saturday, June 27, at MetLife Stadium, in East Rutherford, New Jersey, United States. The Panamanian team is looking for a good performance in the FIFA World Cup 2026. So, the expectation is high. But the team is focused on their goal. The players are ready to give their best.
